The cooking system, rated at 42,000 BTUs, includes 3 seamless stainless steel burners and an electronic Crossover® ignition system. Over the years I have bought numerous big-ticket items from Amazon.com
that were promptly delivered on time to my home.
HOWEVER, I MUST WARM Amazon.com customers to have GREAT PATIENCE
IF you buy this Weber BBQ Grill from Amazon.com
Here is my story :
1. I placed my order for the Weber grill on February 26th
WHILE being concerned the Amazon.com website would NOT
pre-estimate the delivery date. The site promised the
delivery date would be advised ONCE the order was placed.
2. After order placement, the Amazon website did NOT give
a delivery date.
3. Concerned, I immediately phoned Amazon.com to inquire
why the delivery date was not forthcoming, and to plead
they choose a supplier close to my Florida home. They
promised to do that...
4. After numerous phone calls over ELEVEN DAYS (yes, 11 days)
the Grill is still NOT DELIVERED.
5. Amazon.com shipped the Weber Grill from Portland, Oregon
to my FLORIDA HOME ! At least, Amazon.com didn't use a
Honolulu, Hawaii supplier....!
6. The Grill sat over last weekend on a locking dock in
Atlanta, after leaving Portland FIVE DAYS EARLIER !
7. CEVA (the shipper choosen by Amazon.com) don't work
weekends, so products can sit in limbo at intermediate
travel points. (NEVER let Amazon.com use CEVA as your
delivery agent!)
8. I paid Amazon.com the same price I could have bought the
Weber Grill at Home Depot, three miles from my Florida
home. AND, Home Depot, offer FREE assembly of the Grill.
In contrast, I will waste 2-3 hours assembling the Grill
whenever it arrives.
IN SUMMARY -- DON'T BUY THIS GRILL FROM AMAZON.COM unless
you are willing to wait forever for its appearance.
AND, NEVER allow CEVA to touch your delivery items...!

| Excellent grill, heats up really quickly, easy to control the heat, and it looks great too. Only down side is putting it together - the instructions have to be followed exactly - and it can take some time to figure out what goes where - but once you do, the grill works great! |

| This is truly a magnificent performer. It took me a while to put it together (I would guess about 3+ hours) but for those more organized folks than me (i.e., those who can find the right tools immediately) it should take less. Once together it was, and is, a marvel. Quick lighting, quick heating, great cooking. I actually look forward to grilling again. I have bought "almost as good" grills in recent years and they weren't nearly as capable. |

| The description of this grill is " sll stainless steel" Not so. There are a lot of pieces that area either chrome or plain old painted steel. I am very disapointed. We wanted stainless steel burners as we have a lot of humidity here. |

| This is a very excellent grill. The price was $100 cheaper than in a retail store. I would recommend it highly, quick shipping, in fact it came within 3 days after the order was placed. I would give this item 5 stars for cooking, easy operation, price and shipping. |
